My son is moving up size wise, but still is growing. Therefore we wanted to buy a helmet for him that meets three criteria: Safety - this helmet does have the concussion padding need to protect him from that as good, if not better than other helmets Price - since my son is still growing, it doesn’t make sense to spend $600+ on helmet because he will grow out of it in a few years Look - my son has always liked the Bauer helmets because it looks sleek, the best part of sleekness look is the deflection of pucks off the helmet too. Bauer provides a great pattern that deflects pucks well off the head.

Had to order product a couple times to get right size. My son was fit in another store to be in a junior size Bauer mask, but this product in the junior size was a no go. Had to send back, pay more shipping on our end, and had to reorder. Refund was less than our purchase and took weeks to get back. A little bit of a hassle, but the product is perfect.
