In a world of stiff boots that lack anatomical characteristics and restrict movement, we believe in a new sense of freedom, performance and the Art of Speed by creating a skate that optimizes natural movement.

First, the asymmetrical pattern of the skate boots allow the skates to fall in line with direction of travel to generate speed and power through cornering. Second, the Extendon guard promotes a full stroke and then quick recovery to the original position for a faster stride frequency. Lastly, the unmatched range of motion and aggressive blade pitch allows you to get over the front of the skate and create more force into the ice.
The Mako skate is the culmination of multiple years of research and development by legendary speed skater Dave Cruikshank and he used his research to design a skate that allows for proper fit and stride which allows for more speed on the ice.
