The Velocity 7000 blocker is designed to provide the greatest amount of net coverage by having the blocking surface constructed with a gradual curve from the mid board to the top so as not to limit the length of the board. The bottom edge of the board is tapered to allow easy transition to the ice while making paddle down moves. The top area of the board also features a tapered edge. This, along with the full-flex cuff, provides for increased wrist movement. The protective foam board features layers of ultra high-density foam with a polycarbonate Lexan composite shield for increased protection. Unique side hand protection with deflector bar adds to the overall amount of net coverage area.
